FIFA World Cup 26

RockForce served as Official Labor Provider for the 13 United States and Canada host stadiums of FIFA World Cup 26™, staffing 39 days of competition across four time zones and finishing at MetLife Stadium for the final.

2026 FIFA World Cup official match ball

FIFA World Cup 26 was the largest edition ever staged: 48 teams, 104 matches, 16 cities, three nations, 39 days. It closed with an all-time attendance record of 6,810,966 fans. Across the 13 host stadiums in the United States and Canada, RockForce was the Official Labor Provider, the lead workforce provider and coordinating authority for all event-related builds and productions: staffing, coordination, and labor relations management, plus ceremonies, halftime and pre- and post-match entertainment, and stadium overlay. One employer of record. One accountable partner. Thirteen buildings, four time zones, and no second chances.

Operational Scope

Thirteen Buildings. One Standard.

Venue windows opened in May and ran past the final, from BMO Field in Toronto to Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. RockForce did not fly unfamiliar crews into unfamiliar buildings. Each stadium was staffed by locally-based crews who already knew the venue and its jurisdiction, with RockForce leadership on the ground at every site and Regional Labor Coordinators over each of four regions. Union and non-union, across two countries, on one scheduling and billing system.

Outcome

All the Way to the Final Whistle.

FIFA World Cup 26 ended on July 19 at MetLife Stadium, where Spain beat Argentina 1-0 in extra time and the match carried the first halftime show in World Cup final history. It was RockForce's second FIFA final in that building inside twelve months. The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup final, Chelsea 3-0 over Paris Saint-Germain, was played there the previous July.

What We Brought

One Signatory. Every Discipline.

RockForce was engaged as the lead workforce provider and coordinating authority for all event-related builds and productions, not as one of a set of regional vendors. That meant one signatory relationship, one employer of record, and one set of standards applied identically in Toronto, Kansas City, and Miami. Scale that behaves the same way in every building is worth more than scale alone.

Workforce Staffing & Coordination

Locally-based union and non-union crews at every host stadium, scheduled and supervised on a single centralized platform with real-time visibility into crew, shift, and cost.

Labor Relations Management

Jurisdiction-by-jurisdiction coordination across U.S. and Canadian locals, managed by Regional Labor Coordinators over four regions with dedicated Site Leads in each building.

Ceremonies & Halftime

Crew and staging support for ceremonies, halftime, and pre- and post-match entertainment, drawing on RockForce's Theatrical Resources and 25+ consecutive years on the Super Bowl Halftime Show.

Stadium Overlay

Labor for the temporary build that turns an NFL or MLS stadium into a FIFA venue, then returns it, inside fixed windows that ran from May through late July.

Employer of Record & Payroll

Onboarding, compliance, and payroll administered across U.S. and Canadian jurisdictions, so the tournament held one contractual relationship instead of dozens.

Safety & Training

FIFA-aligned health, safety, and sustainability protocols, credentialing before site access, and pre-shift briefings applied to the same standard at all 13 venues.

RockForce's national infrastructure, deep local expertise, and trusted labour relations framework ensure a seamless world class workforce across every host city in the US and Canada.
